The association “Les Centres d’Accueil de l’Espoir” (CAES), has for vocation to frame the Orphans of AIDS and Vulnerable Children (OVC) with the aim of ensuring to them a social and socio-professional insertion. Hence the creation of the project of training / insertion of young OVCa in the agricultural trades which aims to contribute to the reduction of the youth unemployment rate by learning activities providing employment.

The solemn re-entry of learners at the Nkoabang Center for the Promotion of Socioeconomic Activities (CPSEA) took place in October 2014. After eight months of on-site theoretical courses, the learners started the practical phase of their training in broiler chickens at the Binguela Agricultural Practice School (BAPS). This training lasted two months (July-August 2014). On arrival they received a strip of 3200 day-old chicks that they drove to term.

It should be noted that this training is the fruit of the partnership between the Binguela Agricultural Practice School (BAPS) and “Les Centres d’Accueil de l’Espoir”. It allows learners not only to receive a parchment each at the end of the training in order to be competitive in the job market, but also to be able to set up their own business. When we know how difficult employment has become in our country, this initiative is a real windfall for OVCa.
