Perpetuating a tradition now established in C A C ameroun (CERAC ), the first Lady, Mrs. Chantal BIYA personally chaired the festivities marking the 24th General Assembly of an Association which she created in 1995.
It is Friday, December 16, 2016, at the headquarters of this institution in Yaounde that the ceremony took place. Among the objectives of CERAC is to provide assistance to the most vulnerable people. It is in this outburst of generosity that the Orphelins of the C between A home of the E spoir ” have been invited to this event which has remained engraved in their childhood memory.
On her arrival at the headquarters, Mrs. Chantal BIYA exchanged in all conviviality with the ladies of the CERAC . However, the most memorable moment was undoubtedly the performance of the song of recognition highlighting all the good actions carried out by the first lady. This one was prepared by the orphans of the “Centres d’Accueil de l’Espoir” ( CAES). This song roused a shower of applause while creating a perfect communion between the first lady, the members of the CERAC and the children. At the end of this brilliant performance, all the children received gifts from their godmother to better spend the Christmas holidays. The family photo was the right moment for a cordial exchange between the Director of the “Centres d’Accueil de l’Espoir” and Madame Chantal BIYA. Subsequently, the supervisors and orphans took part in the lunch show which made vibrate a selective assistance that one could meet outside the ladies of the CERAC to have, the members of the government, the persons in charge of the Presidency of the Republic and the CERAC partners.
The day ended with the tasting of the CERAC 24th birthday cake and the performance of the renowned artists. It is therefore under an air of total satisfaction that the team of ( CAES) joined the Efoulan Temporary Home Center (ETHC) where orphans reside after a busy day of emotion.
