Community Educators of “Les Centres d’Accueil de l’Espoir” (CAES) are active!
In the special context of the Youth Day of Cameroon, which is celebrated on February 11 each year, the Centers of Reception of Hope have once again been at the forefront of the fight against HIV / AIDS.
Indeed, the seven (07) teams of Community Educators who provide the Education / Awareness component of this Association deployed on 06 and 07 February 2019 in primary and secondary schools, as well as in other communities in the city. from Yaoundé and its surroundings to post the posters to the educational messages on the prevention of STIs, HIV / AIDS. This posting was also an opportunity for these Auxiliary Health to hold community conversations on the theme of HIV / AIDS with young people from these institutions that are the most vulnerable social layer in the face of the pandemic
It should be noted, however, that this activity has generally had a positive impact, particularly among the various educational communities who have hoped that similar initiatives will continue in the future.
