Martine REGENWETTER – Representative of the CAES / Luxembourg partnership alongside the residents.
Announced for several months by the Reverend Sister, Director General of the CAES, Martine REGENWETTER, representative of the FOUNDATION SHARING-Lu, after arriving in Cameroon on September 15, 2018, once again visits the CATE residents.
It is exactly 9 o’clock, on this Wednesday, September 19th of the year of grace 2018, when MARTINE crowd the soil of the CATE. Amazed for some and delighted for others to see a “white mother” in their home, the children warmly welcomed Martine with a pretty bouquet of flowers given by the young NGO BIPANI Aimée. On the menu of this warm welcome: welcome songs, traditional dances and a cleverly orchestrated fashion show. All moved, eyes filled with tears after the various benefits of the children, our host will get closer to the residents for a meeting of chat and discussion focused on future professional projects of each other. Extended library exchanges after the site visit to highlight the value of reading for our residents.
The morning activities completed, place is made at a lunch break. Meal that will be preceded by a blessing prayer to which Martine will take part.
Two hours later, the second part of the joint program will follow: the detailed presentation of OVC coaching activities and the interview with the staff. These last two activities plunged Martine into the actual experience of the chronogram and the tasks of all the supervisors for a quarter given to CATE.
It is therefore at the end of these fruitful exercises that Martine’s visit to CATE will end. We can say with certainty that this day, full of strong emotions and serious work, was a success for the entire CATE team.
Strongly that the CAES / LUXEMBOURG partnership remains!
