PROFESSOR ZOUNG-KANYI JIMY, PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, IS NO LONGER.

As a founding member of “Les Centres d’Accueil de l’Espoir”, this urologist of international reputation has given humanism, greatness of soul, dedication, commitment to the relief of human suffering and therefore to the cause of Centers of Reception of the Hope ». This is what led the family of this structure to appoint him at the head of its supreme body, its Board of Directors.
On the occasion of the disappearance of this illustrious figure, the large family “Centers Home of Hope” has therefore made a final tribute on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 to his home. Members of the Board of Directors, educators, support staff as well as the residents of the Temporary Reception Center of Efoulan (CATE) went there to address with one voice prayers to the Lord for the rest of his soul.
Speaking in this singular circumstance, the Reverend Sister Director General of “CAES”, Marie Thérèse Brigit MEWOULOU, referring to the Gospel according to Saint John of that Wednesday (Jn 3, 16-21): “because God has so much loved the world that he sent his only son so that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, “wished to send a message of comfort, hope and life to the family of the faded away. And to continue: “We do not celebrate death but life. We are convinced that Professor Zoung-Kanyi Jimy, a fervent Christian, will have eternal life since he believed in Christ and these orphans here among us are the living proof of it “.
At the head of the Board of Directors for more than 20 years, Professor ZOUNG-KANYI Jimy has remained faithful to his principles of diligence, punctuality, humility, sharing, consultation and listening. He was a leader of men very appreciated for his great wisdom.
The disappearance of this man of Science full of humanism in this period of the celebration of Easter strengthens us with the hope that he will be resurrected with Christ whom he served by helping the poor with all his soul.
Quoting Monsignor Jean MBARGA, Metropolitan Archbishop of Yaoundé: “Let us pray the Almighty God to allow the Association that Professor Zoung-Kanyi Jimy has led with love, diligence and skill continues to function normally”.
Goodbye “uncle” and may God welcome you to him!
