A MOBILIZATION AGAINST HIV/AIDS AND SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS

For the fourth consecutive time, the NGO “the reception Centres of hope” (CAES) mobilizes people for voluntary and free HIV/AIDS testing.

After the towns of Nkomotou, Nyomo and Mbankomo, it is around the city of MFOU took health organized by the CAES March 28, 2018 campaign.On this occasion, people have had the opportunity to get tested in a voluntary and free way to HIV.The purpose of this activity was to allow them to know their HIV status in order to better combat HIV/AIDS.

This voluntary and free screening session has helped our association to appreciate the importance that the Department of public health attaches to our structure through the National Committee for the fight against HIV/AIDS (CNLS). Whenever we perform this activity, the Health Ministry puts at our disposal a mobile unit testing and personal sn.In doing so, more than three hundred (300) is are detected gladly through the multiple outreach by community educators.These have helped these populations to be built on the merits of the knowledge of HIV status.In addition to the HIV, populations benefited gracefully a medical tray offered by ‘shelters of hope”, which includes various workshops (General consultation, blood glucose, test malaria…) and medical care administered by the team of doctors from our structure.
